Tatton Park is a celebration of the best in gardening each year with a spectacular vibrant atmosphere and shows which displayed the beautiful work of some very skilled and talented people.
As you walked around, there were many different zones which each have a different theme, with the intention to win first prize. These zones were titled: Inspire, Escape, Feast and Grow and were great inspiration for landscape designers.
The ‘Best Summer Garden’ used reclaimed materials and a small urban space to represent the importance of Manchester within the Industrial revolution. The work and thought that went into this garden was definitely appreciated by visitors to the Tatton.
The ‘Feast’ zone explored every aspect of growing your own fruit and veg. You were able to get your hands dirty with some of the features and witness and purchase the prize winning produce that was on display at the show.
Over the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show 2014 was a fantastic experiences and if you missed it this year, be sure to catch it next year. The JHPS team definitely enjoyed Tatton and it’s much recommended for next time! It has inspired us with landscaping design and creating our own show garden could be a possibility for JHPS in the future.
