Landscaping in Keele

We have recently completed some Landscaping in Keele which involved laying a new Indian Stone Patio and also planting up a border.

First of all, we re-paved the path which led from the front door to the side of the house and into the rear garden. We excavated the main section of the garden to create one level area. We then created an elevated terraced area which created easy access to the summer house and the shed. We created steps which led to this area and created a raised sleeper bed within these steps. Landscaping in Keele)Landscaping in Keele

In order to retain the ground on the left hand side of the garden, we created steps out of brick which led up to a tarmac path. These were inserted in to the new brick wall so that they didn’t impose on the path that runs down the side of the house. This gives a safe walkway.

We then built a retaining wall on the left hand side of the garden to hold back the hedge row. This was created from a category B engineering brick and consists of a double brick construction.

Finally we created a new drain to remove the water from the downward spout. This then linked into the nearest man hole.

By having this work carried out, it created a very practical and aesthetically pleasing garden, with a patio area to entertain guests in the summer months. The customer was very pleased with the result!
