Tips for Apple Trees in Pots

Fruit trees grow best in sunlight. The warmer the tree is kept, the more fruit it will produce.
Prune the trees in small amounts to help with productivity.
Autumn is when your trees are in fruit so best left full.
Midwinter is good for a first prune.
Late spring is best for a vigorous pruning but wait until the tree has blossomed.
Careful summer pruning can be used to maintain the size and growth of the tree.
